Hi Sim, i do appreciate what you say.
I know you have done it to not so good effect, however i have read up alot on doing this too.
There are loads of Ve's running my spec and even less.
It has worked.
My exhaust is a full 3' and i will have a 3' turbo elbow. Dont see how that is crap.
The exhaust mainfold will be ported all throughout and on the bolt holes.
Running just under a bar with great mapping will at least produce 260-280.
The turbo has been tested and this rebuilt hybrid t28 runs out of puff at about 6800-7000 rpm which is what i wil get the car mapped to/ redline point, just like i did it in N/a tune. 196 @ 6800 rpm.
I know the ve has much more capabiities but i dont need to push it yet.
I am not after big power just yet, just want to get it running, drive it, then when its time, go for the big forged, big turbo build that you all think the ve is capable of and rpm to 10000000000+ RPM.
Thats big money build, not this one i am doing first.
Thanks, but let me try, as loads others have in the past with a ve and gtir bolt on's, and it has worked well with good mapping, if not you can have the pleasure of saying i told you so afterwards.
Just a few ve t conversions shown. Some using even lesser spec than me. Have run well.
I have read pros and cons about the builds.
