Hi all,
what are your opinions on this. I currently have a 1999 Nissan Pulsar VZ-R, totally standard as Mr. Nissan intended. I've had the car for sale for the past while but it has not being moving. On Saturday i spotted a 1999 Pulsar VZR N1 going through the auctions which was later removed due to incorrect paper work. After speaking to a lad to import it for me I was told it will most likely come back up for auction this week and i decided to drop my asking price to see if i could get a quick sale. I dropped my asking price to €7000, a drop of well over €1000 and i've a fella coming to see it on Saturday! Now this N1 is not guaranteed to come back up at auction but i'm takinh a chance!
Heres my Car!
Heres the N1 when it was up for auction the weekend!
Heres where it gets interesting. I received a PM from a guy on one of the Irish Forums offering me a straight swap for his 1997 Honda Civic SiR (1.6 VTEC). This car comes extremely well spec'd. When this car first came on the market a few weeks ago I offered to swap for it but he refused as he was looking for cash at the time!
Here's teh spec of it:
1997 ek b16a
fully serviced and timing belt done by tuning factory
5zigen 421 manifold
de cat
spoon n1 exhaust system
hks induction kit
hondata ecu
lsd
razo short shifter
lowered
4 strut bracres(2 front 2 rear)
ek9 type r steering wheel
mugen rep carbon front lip
type r rear lip (not fitted)
fully colour coded
pioneer head unit
clifford alarm
Standard SiR alloys
tested for 2 years

I have a CRX SiR also at the moment and i really like the Honda's but the Pulsars are less common. Hondas are quicker and more tuneable also! Looking at the spec i reckon i'm getting a pretty good deal on a straight swap providing the Civic is a straight car. There is some pretty expensive extras on the car like the Spoon exhaust, 5zigen manifold and the Hondata Ecu!
What would ye do. Personally i think the Red Civic is different for a civic and it's a car i had interest in before. I could go for the N1 if it comes up again for auction but will be waiting for ages again. It was this time last year that i bought my current VZR and it arrived in Ireland in March! Might also be disappointed by the N1 also!!!
Help me make a decision!
Cheers
