yes for sale allright. looking for 12,000 euro ono same price range as a CTR. I may regret selling her as I may never own one again. This car also has lots of extras as in the spec list.

Ya man haven't been over here since I crashed my old one. I was too sick to look at all the vzr's over here knowing mine was in shit lol.
it's hard to put a price on her being rare and all but we'll see what offers I get i have a few already so I'll wait and see. Any reasonable offer will be accepted. I mean the CTR's over here are mostly 12,500 for 98's and they're everywhere. I have her priced with an sir or a jordan civic
 
am visiting my mum in n.ireland in july,im really thinking about driving over,would be great to meet some vzr owners,anyone fancy it?

are there any other differences between the n-1 and the vz-r apart from engine..i think ive found an n-1 and he doesnt know what it is he has it down as a 1.8 it has a red top engine so im thinking its an n-1...as far as im told i wont find any difference driving either unless i rev it right out which he's not gonna like on a test drive..thing thats putting me off is its a 99...they didnt come out in 99...97 and 98 only but it could of been registered late..??????

Is this the vz-r with n1 engine advertised as a1.8.It's black,shitty wheels,wind up windows,it's in or was in a place down near the docks,if so ma friend bought this already!
 
yeahn thast the one down the docks(eastwall)...i dont think its a n-1...he would of known..probably just a red rocker cover..have you been in it? i saw it on car zone
 
Yeah i drove it,it's quick but prob is it still has vzr clocks in it so the redline is at 8000rpm and it feels like it could go another thousand revs easy,like n1's they rev to sumtin like 9000rpm.Im fairly sure it's a vzr with n1 engine,it has intake manifold,8 injectors i think,whole n1 intake system.It felt much more responsive than my car.Just goes to show what little these people know about the cars they are importing as he was selling it as a 1.8.If he knew what it was im sure he would have sold it for more,it was bought for 9,500 yoyo's!
 
thats what he had it advertised for??? your mate must be crap at haggling ya would of got that for 9 easy..probably lesss..all Jap dealers are making a packet anyway...i was looking at a colt rs mivec down there with them..i was very interested until i drove the vz-r....soon as i mentioned another car 500 off straight away...best thing to do is to wonder in and pretend your looking around..once he knows your interested he wont budge.

Yeah but he traded in his other car against it and haggled on the price of that.That vzr was in a crash aswell the seat belt tensioners have fired and you can't use the seat belts,if you ask me ,one way or another it was a good deal because of the n1 engine!
 
Damit. I'm proper jealous of you Irish guys.

If it wasn't far too much hassle to get an N1 here, I'd (try and) get one tomorrow.

me= green eyed monster. :D
