What do I need for a service?

Got the lower mount off using a socket set with extension. It was still secured up top so I tried bending it outwards......then realised I could rotate it on the top bolt....meant I got the starter in but not rotated properly. Somehow, as if by magic, I managed to loosen the top bolt enough for it to just flop out the way for me :)

That has got to be one of the most awkward bolts to undo ever.
 
Can I change my mind and say one of the gearbox mounting bolts that goes in from the passenger wheel arch side on a GA14 is worse?

Either way getting to things in the dark and wet is a pain in the arse.
 
Passenger wheel arch?? Thought the only bolts on that side are on bell housing? Most awkward in that area is the bolts that secure the rear mount bracket on
 
The most awkward bolt is the 8mm bolt holding the drip tray under the oil filter on an SR.
 
What size is the sump nut? Encountered it whilst under the car but didn't check. Will I be able to tell which way the washer goes on using the old one?
