which alloys?!

aye its annoying becasue i have just lowered me car 40mm after being told thats all it will need with it being lower than standard anyway and u could still fit a small boy in the arches!! takes the piss a bit lol... 18s would defo fill arches nicely and i dont wanna change springs again after the 80 years it took me to do it first time....didnt no u had to take half the car interoir out to get to the back suspension bay!!! :eek:

they should settle a bit and it will look lower after they have been on a while...
 
i hope so...3 times me and a mate re did the gits lol...was fun though. u dont even wanna no wot we did wrong its a bit blond :lol:
 
that car is slammed on coilovers tho. you can't get lower than -40mm springs on the N15. I've a full set of those front wheels you can see on d0b0's gti as is now (now my donor car, steelies won't fit over the gti brakes so had to use those to move it around). They're not going on until I've got coilovers, as I don't want to monster truck my car, and Im not gonna buy springs, only to buy coilovers at a later date.
 
hopefully teh DVLA will see my conversion as reshelling the GTi, instead of putting a bigger engine ito my Si, since I'm swapping the brakes, steering as much of the suspension as I can (some was damaged) and whatever else is differente from GTi - non GTi. It will also change my car from S reg to T reg and using the GTi clocks, take at least 14k miles off :D.

inovits stvi's definatly dont come in 17", shop around you will get them cheaper.. be carfull with inovits as im on the fence with them now, in 8 months ive got 3 buckled wheels...may be the roads may be the softness of the alloy, who knows
 
trouble is theyre common as muck and once you've seen them on some twatty saxo or corsa they loose appeal :(

lol.... :P . i dont wot god dam wheels to get its stressing me out to be honest!! im not good at decisions. ive been put off inovits now though...but i will make up me mind soon....simcard still interested in dinging the dingers?

p.s im not sure about kei the jap man on the add puts me off hes scary. do i have to meet him when i buy?? :confused:
