I have an Almera 2003 1.5 petrol hatch and I am trying to find out why the red brake icon does not light up on the dash when the ignition is on or when the hand brake is up.
The ABS light also does not come on but after a check with the dealer it looks like the car just does not have it so...
It doesn't.
I blew air with a compressor in the tube from the rear and it pushed the water out of the tank in the engine bay so it's not disconnected. There is no noise out of the pump when using the stalk for the rear.
Anyone got any docs/links on how to remove the stalk?
So I went ahead and replaced the washer pump. It has one pump that services both front and rear.
No change, same as before.
Seems to be an electrical issue and got no idea what to try next.
Any suggestions, bar taking it to a professional?
I have a hatchback Almera N16 from 2003 and was wondering if anyone has any links to the online service manuals on how to replace the boot lid.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks.
Is that a pump issue that can happen though? I mean it is strange that the same pump works fine for the front only.
Can it be the switch perhaps not sending a signal for the rear?
Got a 2003 almera hatchback 1.5 petrol and ever since I bought it there has been no water going to the rear.
I took the nozzle off and pumped some air through the hose (with those compressors for the tyres) and it blew water out of the water tank meaning there isn't a blockage.
The front works...
Swapped the 1 and 2 coils around and the error went away and drives normally now.
An oil service + plugs will happen at the weekend anyway so might replace the coils to be safe.
Hi guys.
Today the car felt a bit sluggish and lagging in acceleration. It was also vibrating unlike before. Shess a 2003 hatchback.
Thought it was low oil symptom but the oil level is fine.
Connected one of those bluetooth ODB adapters and found a P0302 error code, misfire on cylinder 2...
I have some damage on the rear door outside pillar, driver side, see in the photo.
I can't seem to find any details of that replacement part.
It seems to be a very thin plastic film that goes over the rear door.
Does anyone know what it is called/what the part number is?
Thanks.
So put the finger in where the hook is and pull out?
I need to verify the connections at the back of the head unit.
Should I disconnect the battery before doing so to be safe?
Hi all.
I've been searching online for so long for a guide on how to remove the radio in my 2003 Almera.
Plenty of videos and guides out there except for my radio, the one with the large screen and built-in climate controls.
Does anyone have a link a pdf on how to remove it?
