If there was some cheap and easy way of fitting a removable tow hook that didn't affect the bumper I would have this.

Couldn't a modified swan neck towbar be the answer Ed, or spare bumper when towing as suggested earlier?

No chance of a spare bumper. It would mean having to put the actual bumper in the car... and with everything else I take to JAE, that's not happening.

Thats fugly as hell Liam lol maybe if you had used the rear of an n16 it would have looked better.
