Slightly off topic, but could anyone tell me what the standard C/R is for the SR20DE, SR20DET, SR20VE and SR20VET ?

Just to make it abit easier for future searchers, here's the compression ratios of them engines.

USDM High/lowport SR20DE = 9.5:1
UKDM High/lowport SR20DE = 10:1
JDM High/lowport SR20DE = 10:1
SR16VE = 11:1
SR20VE = 10.3:1
20V SR20VE = 11:1
SR20VET = 9:1
 
What you would need would be the P11-144 gearbox.

You would then be able to swap gears from the N16 gear stacks into the P11-144 gearbox, albeit the 5th and final drive ratios (as the rest are the same).

DBull , when you are referring to P11-144 you mean the P11-144 with the SR20 (140hp) manual ,right? It is the only one in Europe with the hydraulic clutch IIRC. Is the P11-144 QG18DE tranny/bellhousing of any use on the N15 or it is absolutely not interchangeable? If you don't mind having a chat with me mate you can drop me a PM with your skype/icq.

144 box RS5F70A only has 4.1fd or using the QG18 gearstacks that gives you a 3.8fd
RS5F32A FM43 is the primera GT gearbox.

The primera gt is a 4.3 diff ?
P11 98/99 box has 4.1 diff & 1.836 2nd gear. But 00-02 the box changed to 4.3 diff & 1.955 2nd gear I thought?

2nd gear is 1.8261

P11 -144 RS5F70A / transaxle code 6J016 with 4.1765
2nd gear is 1,9545

I 've read QG gearstack is interchangeable with the SR20 P11 144 RS5F70A / transaxle code 6J016 gearbox haousiing.
You can play with that , to got better FD.
