so new parts that i will be fitting:
1.apexi avcr (boost control different boost set in gears)needed
2.stainless turbo manifold((got)
3.nismo 740cc injectors(need)
4.uprate the valve springs(as they are bouncing wen you up the boost past 1 bar)need
5.after market steering wheel(need)
if you have any of the above for sale pls let me no.:)

Why such big injectors?

High revs and BIG cams need uprated valve springs. Power output doesn`t come into the equation.

i was given a list of parts i would need to get what i want out of the mera.as for the valve springs,wen you turn the boost past one bar the valves springs are bouncing and it spluters mate

and the engine wont 'splutter' because the springs are bouncing... if the valves float, which only happens at high rpm then you lunch the engine
 
People in the US are running 20 PSI through stock DE's with no problems. It's all in the Mapping.
 
light valve float will mean the engine stop's making power after a certain point but it won't splutter, serious float will scrap you engine very quickley, i would be very surprised if you have valve float at 1 bar even with standard spring's...............you ever think you might have had spark blow out? as that is more likely on old ignition components and is as common as buggery on the gtir's.

the car was mapped at 1bar at horsham develoments,and jez told me thats what is happening.it only splutters in 3rd or higher revs,1st an 2nd is fine.runs perfect running 12psi
 
What rolling road did jez use? as it still stinks of spark blow out to me (peak torque and load normally sow this) i.e 3rd gear and up.

Have a chat with edd at fusion m/sport ,he's based on the same (quinteq studio) site as surrey rr, and tbh has a better rep than jez on the sr20det 4x4 and fwd. i was there again today and saw a pulsar kicking out just shy of 480bhp at 1.5 bar on a 3037.

The problems you a re discribing sound's ign or map related not valve float.

Fuel cut or ign failure at peak ve? ( would need to see the car to see what was happening)
 
I have nothing against horsham, except when i took my car there to be aligned and corner weight'd i ended up doing alot of the work myself because he was very unimpressed that it was'nt your average camber and toe job!! or he did'nt know exactley what to do with that specific viehcle.
