Almera N16 GTiR

Really? I had Koni Yellows with H&R springs and I thought they were pretty good.

The Bilstein B6 is much thicker than Koni what makes it much more tougher and the car gets a lot more stiff.
What I am about to do more during the winter (if the car stays with me) is to turn this car into single parts, get rid of everything useless and heavy weld the whole body, put spreaders in the bottom and in the top and the mentioned earlier Rollbar in the back. The car would get stiff as hell and on the track it would be much easier to drive fast. :)
A lot of planes, a lot of potential, a lot of abilities but there is never enough time. :) The winter should be and will be interesting. If not with this car than with my new TDI I am about to tune after Almera GTiR. :)

Not only a fascinating car performance wise.. Also a great looker ;)
We don't have many tastefully modified N16's in this country.. Only a mere handful, and only really two that have had performance upgrades, one of them being a diesel..
Its inspiring for other members to get off their Arse and get on with it.

Nice project!
Just some thoughts. DET ecus are fully tunable...

I'm not aware of any off the self Bilstein existence for N16. It needs custom one.
There are other coilover brands available.

Custom is the name of our project... If we need to put in the Bilstein, will do! :) Everything is doable... :)
Moreover if we had bigger funds, we would fit in a 4x4 drive... :D
Maybe in the future... :)

Well in that case Spoot maybe it's wiser and cheaper to look what the competition can offer.
Local cost to make a custom Bilstein set was crazy.
There are KW, D2, Ksport, HotBits and i've also read that if you keep the stock mounts you can place Tein as well.
Being able to change the springs you could have it perform the way you prefer.

Yeah, to be honest when I am ready to change it, I will check all kind of solution. :)
Thanks for the tip though... It is going to be useful. :)

Returning to the question above, yes the car belong to Gre. :)
