Almera TSi

And it actually looks in mint condition now..

Haha, it does look 'cleaner' with the white wheels...but its still a rusty shed with patchy rattlecanned paintwork, you can see the N/S wing rust in the pic.

When i removed the N/S mirror, some the metal behind the base was rotten, ended up cutting out a 2" square of metal. Doesnt help that the mirror base is lined with foam so it holds loads of water.

Ah well...its never gonna be mint, i'll just keep respraying it! white is good in that respect.

fookin awesome mate, gorgeous

MIJ system looks exactly like mine did too, that tip and mahoosiv silencer lol. it fairly quiet i presume

Looks good man, Have you ever though about Phase 2 crystal headlights?

Yeah definately, i'd like to upgrade to ph2 GTi headlamps preferably. The ph1 fronts look dated.

The old system sounded awesome but was too noisey for a road car.
This time ive had a silencer fitted after the cat and a bigger rear silencer box, currently have the CAT fitted aswell so yeah its pretty quiet now.

No more headaches on motorway journeys FTW!

Nice one Dale - sounds like it's well sorted !

Well, despite the rain i managed to get a little bit done today...

What started out as a simple 'bonnet raise' mod to aid cooling ended up turning into a few hours tinkering trying to make my oversized intercooler fit better so that it wasnt tilted backwards, and impeding flow to my alloy radiator (did anyone else fit one of these rads in the end? Sim,Stu?).

By removing the tow hook and dropping the cooler down slightly ive managed to get it sitting vertically now. This has also given me loads of space between the alloy radiator and intercooler which will let me fit two push fans (as opposed to one 12" draw through slim fan).

...and while the bumpers off i'll be giving it a few more coats of lacquer. Happy days:)

Id reccomend 195/55/15 or 205/50/15 over 195/50's any day of the week.

Rides and looks miles better.
