Looking good bud.

It's good to see this sort of thing outside of the U.S. and OZ.

There's not many of us!!!

I noticed that you still have the stock gearbox...LOL. You may have breakages soon.

I will be installing the late P11 144 hydraulic gearbox on Tuesday and so far there hasn't been a report of a failure.

Loving the video!!!

Cheers

Dave

nice to hear it from U !!!!
i will buy PAR gearbox, but dont have money for this now LOL
i have few stock gearbox in my garage , hehe

Seriously, don't buy the PAR gearset...I know it is good, but it isn't needed thanks to the late Primera P11 144 gearbox.

There are a few things you need to do to get it to work in your car, but nothing to great.

1. Swap over the NISMO LSD, which will fit.
2. Swap over the speedo drives, which will fit.
3. Swap over the clutch release arm, which will fit.
4. Rewire the reverse & neutral switches, which is easy!
5. Modify the gear linkage support, the hardest part, but still easy!

Here is a link to the swap...

Hope this helps!!!

Cheers

Dave

P.S. I have already broken a stock Almera GTi gearbox and my car is far lighter than yours...you will break the gearbox very quickly with that T67!!! Please upgrade to the late P11 144 gearbox!

but i can still change ratios :) in p11 cant :(
but thanks 4 help mate

Why are you concerned with ratios.

Regardless of ratios, with 500 HP and street tyres, you are still going to spin the tyres in 1st & 2nd.

Unless you get to a prepped drag strip with slicks, then you will always struggle.

1st to 60km/h and secont to 100km/h is to short for me :(
1st is sheet ;/

You have an 8500 rpm limit yes?

You are also using a 225/45/16 tyre yes?

Going by those specs. the late P11 gearbox will give you the follwoing speeds in each gear...

1st @ 8500 rpm - 42 mph (67 kph)
2nd @ 8500 rpm - 72 mph (115 kph)
3rd @ 8500 rpm - 109 mph (174 kph)
4th @ 8500 rpm - 151 mph (242 kph)
5th @ 8500 rpm - 185 mph (296 kph)

What you wanna get if you want taller gear ratios is the very early Primera P10...

1st gear @ 8500 rpm - 47 mph (75 kph)
2nd gear @ 8500 rpm - 78 mph (125 kph)

Get some taller tyres...they help a lot!

i must change springs in head, rockers are broken, maybe 12mm lift is too big for cat cams springs

I take it you didn't measure them then?

Best to match the camshafts with the springs and retainers, or measure the spring for the camshaft lift!
