Autech GTi

Well after my clutch got really bad and crunchy, the last straw being sat in traffic on the way to JAE and not being able to select gears, got much worse when engine was warm.

I took the box off today, cleaned and greased everything to do with the release bearing, the clips, inside of the bearing, and the actuator rod.

refitted the box with one of my clutch brackets got it back on its wheels and marvelled at my astonishingly awesome clutch now :)

driven to brum and back tonight and its even made the gearbox feel better. happy days.

5zigen arent standard on anything, they are an aftermarket company

I have the stock Autech backbox on it, with a 2.5" midsection.

it will all be coming off at some point though :) for MOAR NOIZE!!

Fitted SAFC, fitted GTi maf, car runs MUCH smoother now.... alot richer though than before, Im sorting out some proper mapping though soon, not feeling the SAFC it will just do me until then :)

Just done another long run

on 49 Litres of VPower 715km = 444 Miles = 41 MPG

:)
