got back from work today stripped out the rear strut in prep for some welding :)

I had some splits in the rear turrets welded up then I had some seam welding done around the tops too, speaking with the welder in a few weeks he is going to come back and seam the rear of the car :)

pretty useless pictures I know but you get the idea

gotta love eddies method of modifying

"i will just sit back, have a wank, let other people do the work, buy their work, then sit back and stroke my beard and boast on aoc how great a tuner i am"

It could be good for the fabricator ££ wise, cause im sure a few people would be interested in some proper rear strut braces. Shame would of been a awesome group buy for the 'AOC' ..

and Ross I really dont give a flying rats arse what you think.. if my car works that's all I care about... we cant really say any of us a tuner's then since most of the things we do have probably been done by someone in the states before us so that comment has no substance. I mean most of your GA tuning was following a guys work on a sentra a few years ago.. remember how well your GA tuning went?

well after seeing my first grit lorry whilst I was out the other night, got up at the butt crack of dawn got some tea in me and headed to halfords for..... a litre of Underseal :)

stripped off the rear bumper cleaned everything and slapped a load on, went over it all the the heat gun so it ran into all the crevices and left a nice smooth layer.

also did the boot floor and right up in both rear arches, using an aerosol to get into the harder to reach places. Next week end with the use of a ramp I will be doing the full underside :)

the Ol'Greeeeeg came round and we performed an oil change :)

Nice one, that is my next job too! Like the tip to use the heat gun after;)

And that is a lovely drive, wish i had two other almeras in my drive

Do you need to use a heatgun on it, or would it naturally cure out anyways or was it purely to try and push it into all the little crevices
