Autech GTi

I have been converted :D

if your looking to change your dizzy and rotor arm soon use nissan parts, me and rob have used pattern ones and it caused both to miss under acceleration, a genuine nissan one for a high port should be fine although I would like to try an almera one to see if it works...

does your temp needle stay halfway all the time?

Yeah its halfway all the time, apart from when it overheated on the M6 after sustained 80-90mph for about 3hrs.

Cheers for the tip on the dizzy, ive just been cleaning mine every so often.

Id personally recommend Magnecor KV85 leads instead of Splitfire. Ones for the UK N15 GTi will be fine.

Mine also used to miss under acceleration and it was down to a combo of things, i think some of the trouble with these cars is the low mileage (lack of use) and age of them.

Until they cause a problem I wont be changing them anytime soon (leads)

Im waiting on a part number for an Autech thermostat atm, opens at 82 deg and works in conjunction with the cold maps Autech have used, fingers crossed I can get one

thermostats on order, Im pretty sure when I take out the one thats in there itl be uprated

got some new tyres on the back aswell now, and a new indicator courtesy of Tommosan after my crappy ebay copy decided to lose itself somewhere......

This car just keeps growing on me.. Not a fan of the kit on photos, but in real like there's just something mystical about it, draws you in. I kept finding myself just staring at it today, and thinking, hmm that looks SO good.
Handles like a cart too Sam :)
Great piece of kit.

Looks very nice indeed, I still remember seeing it in person and it had some good road presence! Also spotted the ex in the background.
