Bet it feels better with the mounts done then mate :)
Will look great with a painted cam cover on it, wild call, but maybe orange to match the indicators??

havnt driven it yet, its still in the air need to go fit the belts but dont really know what Im doing

Yeah Ive considered some nice bright colours, thinking of doing something different though never seen it done on here

cars all back together now, the mounts are harsher than I remember from the GTi

amazing difference though the clutch has even stopped slipping as bad...........

all the sound deadening is out of the rear of the car, quite surprised just how heavy it actually was.

got the correct alt belt aswell still need to fit the PS/WP one but that looked tricky so Ive left it for now

whats that on top of the brace sam?

I dont honestly know, its suspended by some rubber at either end so it can flex side to side, have no idea was going to ask on here......

there's loads more of that crap at the front mate, need to get it all out to be worth it :P

although if it's anything like mine, the front stuff was a lot harder, didn't come up in one nice easy big piece

lookin sweet man

I began with a chisel, then broke out the heat gun made it easier but was still a ball ache

sam we all know you're a wank driver though

not denying it

still reckon the timing was dodgy that day, Ie the clocks being dead just before my run :(

next time fo sho

its definately coming together though now, just need to decat it and delimit it then clutch, and exhaust and get the suspension setup, dont care what order aslong as it all gets done

16 kilos in total i think

sam, on the ramps is there more clearance to get under the car or is it about the same as using axle stands?
