When all these builds are complete we all need to meet up at the same dyno, on the same day for some serious willy waving!

nah but seriously, this is the best the clubs been atm. All these awesome builds coming together in the last few months and plenty still to come. Next year all these datsuns are gonna surprise a lot of people and more expensive metal.

This setup will make 170-180whp over there no doubt.

ive read tones of post on the dash whereby DE/VE have made less than whats was expected. also too ive read threads where near stock motors have ran....... near stock bhp/lb-ft figures - nothing wrong there.
 
Good result Dale, but with the spec, I am sure there is much more to be found.

I think it needs some tweeking to fine tune it, but I recon you can pull over 200 BHP.

.....in my experince, and from what i`ve read, go to a dastek or dynojet dyno for a better chance of a `US type figure`.
 
Just go to a cheap old dyno place, thatl likely use old tech nice and inaccurate? or is it. Would prefur figures that compare with the rest of the world 2bh then go to a new super hi-tech dyno and get shit figures

What People are forgetting is - this build is essentially a P&P'd Head, a set of cams, a nice header and a remap.
Give the guy some props lol! The results are great, especially the torque figure!
There's plenty more Dale can do for more power here, he's not had to crack open the bottom end yet remember :P
Great result man, and I know you've got shit in the pipeline, but for now, its a great first result!
I think the compression ratio is bang on Dale - any more, and you may have had lean issues like Raceworx has had with the Dastek.

yeah remember guys this wasn't the 97 on btcc head, it's from the 94 season where nissan finished second last then pulled out of btcc for a few years, it's just a ported, polished and skimmed sr20 head, unlike the head used on the later cars. so like i said previously i'd be well happy with those numbers imho

i really want dan to put the silver shadow on a DD dyno to see what it does on there compared to the dastek dyno.

anyway all these super super builds are coming out but not one of them has done lower than a 14.02 yet which was a MILDLY tuned VE with a pussy low rev limit and a one wheel spinner gearbox :tt2:
