Autech Pulsar GTi

Looks awesome Dale :D. Now don't touch it! No removing skirts and whatnot, keep it raw Autech baby.

theres only one thing i would change and thats the gay spoiler but then again i guess that would take away its autechness, ive just never liked them

other than that i want it to mate with my car
Haha the spoiler has never been to everyone's taste but it does it's job and does it well. It's not just there for looks and when i've been sat on the arse of a WRX at 100mph with it's back end hanging out i'm glad I re-fitted it.;)

I got to see today the effect the spoiler has in the rain on the motorway :D

So today i set about making space for my huge 'Custom BTCC/Rally Spec' air intake.......

Only joking! All i did was remove the battery tray to clean up any signs of rust underneath, there were a few spots developing around the mounting points and the tray was a bit manky, so the area was primed up then clear coated on top, then i painted the tray and holder in gloss black.

Ooooh look, Dales got VVL!!! ............well not quite.

The ID of the MAF must be like 40mm or something daft...

Will definately be dumped in favour of a roller rocker DE MAF when the time comes.

On that note, i made my first proper engine mod investment for the Autech recently...(albeit delaying completion on the TSi)

I bought Kurts JWT C2 (275*/12.7mm) cams and valve springs/retainers. :)

Still looking great Dale glad to see it's gone to a good home. I did consider changing the MAF as it does seem quite restrictive. Engine bay still looks mint!

Haven't updated on the Autech for a while, and thats mainly because i haven't drove it for about 4 months.

Anyway, im pleased to say the Autech will return soon.....im rubbish at keeping quiet about things so i thought i'd share this little gem with you.

Thanks to sri alan, i just recieved this 53J Highport SR20 head, which im lead to believe was prepped by IES (http://www.iesracing.co.uk/Profile.htm) in 1994 for Team Janspeed in the BTTC.

EDIT - See pg.41-42. Its an NME F2 Rally cylinder head.
