Your bonnets not shut properly mert...
I'd almost forgotten how immaculate this car is!! I'll have to pop down one day in mine and take a few pics
Couple of shots from a trip into Wales this weekend, the car felt really planted on the lovely sweeping country roads out there. Had plenty of power on tap for overtaking too, so much enjoyment had.
Took her to the drag strip this weekend and got a new PB time.
Well done mate! Fantastic time!!
What tires are you using?
Really nothing fancy, just odd tyres on some old wheels, Uniroyal Rain expert and Firestone Fuel Saver 195/50R15.
I think the track was quite sticky as it was a warm day.
Next plan is to put some 23" drag slicks on to get her deep into the 12's.
Needless to say im happy with the results.
thats pretty mega Frank, love this car
congrats, that´s amazing result! semislick tires will get you to 12´s for sure...
What is the power, weight and gearbox?
For me the time is suprisingly to good just for this setup and used tyres.
Also many depends of the surface - tarmac quality, but I last time saw almost indetical time done by VX220 with swapped K20 and close FD such a 5,00 and on slicks. No offence...
whats happening on the 3rd and 4th gearshifts with the 1/4 mile run? is it flatshifting? dogbox? ecu functioning?
Its around 230hp and 1000kg, with a 5.1fd for shorter gearing.
Ive not beaten that time yet, i ran once since Using 23" drag slicks and only managed to match that time
Yeah flatshifting, normally good for a couple more MPH
Wow great time budy Spec also right
How did you reduce weight that much?
maybe a silly question, but does it hurt anything? i have a function in my current engine management to do this. never tried it but...
Just removed interior trim etc what's not needed.. This car is non ABS, no air con, manual windows.
