if it doesnt work weve discussed using plasticote. looks great as it is but will have to see how well it holds up.

The chrome ones look the bee's IMO, really do set off the interior especially if you have chrome handles on the outside
seem to be quite good at this spraying business mate xDDue to my SHOCKING MPG at present I posted up on a thread asking about what i could do. Liam suggested cleaning the MAF so I set to it and had a crack tonight.
The 5 star tamper proof torx screws are a ballache! I read on a different forum that a way around getting these off is basically to dremmel out the middle so that you can use a flat head screwdriver to unscrew it. Did this and voila! Job done perfectly
The first picture shows vaguely how dirty the resistor was so cleaned it up but couldn't get a picture of the actual filaments unfortunately.

Now it's time to see if it actually does any thing

I've lowered my car!
Only took me a month and a half after Japfest to get them on but the main thing is they're on now
I bought these off Dysopath at Japfest and the standard spring colour is red:
I really didn't want red springs so cracked on with the prepping for paint:
Springs resprayed in black (For...legal reasons):
Car in Andy's sexy new garage:
Wheels off:
Strut and spring apart:
The two rear springs sorted and ready to go back on:
Car flipped around:
Andy's bungie cord idea to hold the hub up when we disconnect the strut:
Me using the breaker bar to undo the bolts on the back of the strut:
After that everything was put back on the car and I now have a lowered N16
Now for the thankyou's:

Total time to remove and refit springs - 8 1/2 hours which I dont think is bad for a first attempt.

I'm using Pi springs, some people dont recommend but I've heard good things too
