Yay or Nay

no the auto ecu you just get rid of, thats seperate from the main ecu

and no to the wiring loom stuff. If you're gonna use the sr20 engine loom i think you'll need the whole sr20interior loom too.

all the wiring work i did was on the auto engine loom, my car still runs on the auto engine loom cos my engine loom was already for an sr...the sr18. So i didn't need to change much.

with your engine loom being from the ga15 i dunno how much you'd need to change to make it run an sr20.

the wire looping/splicing i described is for using the existing auto loom, a manual engine loom doesn't have a park/neutral position switch. You'll prolly end up putting a complete sr20 loom in

a ga loom wold work if you changed the things that didn't plug straight in surely.

i dunno i don't care about GAys

if it can't be changed to work with an sr then you'll need the whole engine loom yeh, and you won't need to worry about my wiring stuff. However i think you'll definitely need a full sr interior loom and all the shit to go with it too, maybe clocks etc etc.

a manual engine loom won't work with an auto interior loom now will it ;)

what the fuck will the auto have to do with the interior loom

to be honest, i don't see how after wiring the sr engine loom (if it don't plug in) i should have any issues!

im sure i'll manage :)

cos the auto ecu is inside the car, along with the aito shifter, auto clocks, all linked to know if the car is in neutral/park.

otherwise the car won't start cos it thinks its in gear....notice how the srv only starts in park?

there looks to be all kindsa shit still in my interior behind the dash that is to do with the auto engine loom, but cos i've kept it all i'm just tricking it into thinking it's in park. My park light still lights up on my clocks, as do the reverse and neutral lights when i'm in reverse and neutral.

As said already too, you'll need a non nats sr20 loom and ecu anyways whic isn't the easiest thing to find.

it might work, but i wouldn't count on the manual engine loom just working with the auto interior

no thats what i'm sayin

swapping the whole loom and everything isn't that big a deal....and potentially could work out simpler with less wiring bullshit

yeh they were, that'd be the easy loom to use but would still mean swapping some plugs n shit

and like i say, i dunno if it'd plug into the interior auto loom easy - might be fine
