Chris180's GTi

I'm not playing against you :P Not till I've got my inlet manifold off and polished, 4-2-1 and rocker painted :D

ANYWAY back to topic!

It's no hard to do the engine bay man, especially as you've still got the enclosed airbox so don't need to worry about getting the filter wet.

Get yourself some AutoGlym Engine and Machine Cleaner. It's a white spray bottle with a Purple sticker. Wait till the engines cold and spray it everywhere! Use a paintbrush to agitate the dirt then pressure wash off. Just don't aim the water source at electrical bits for too long i.e. alternator / dizzy / battery / electrical connectors. Make sure it's well rinsed then start the engine and let it warm up and dry off. Then dress the plastics / polish metals etc.

I'll need to show you mine soon (and get that gril?) as I dressed all the rubbers and plastics yesterday with some new top secret in development stuff and wow what a difference from when you saw it at the jdmy0 meet.

awesome! then some bronze rims? ;)

then we need some pics together, black and blue - cousins :D

Yup hopefully, don't think it'll be before the summer though :(
Pics would look awesome of the two cars together!! You need to get to JAE!

Steven - sounds like a plan mate. Might buy the stuff then we could go to a garage and do it since I don't have a hose!? :(

Well here we go, very very happy! Yes the front can go alot lower but it's my daily drive and happy way it is. Might go lower in future, we'll see how things go. Now my license plate says what the car is ;) Comments please :)

mint, but the back needs to come up looks wrong

you need to learn the art of one wheel at a time yo ;)

looks mint chris, rear needs up a bit as the others have said,

but these's something about black lowered meras that look just right

It looks fantastic but that's one reason i have yet to get some coilovers as where i live is speed bump city and to have it look really good its got to be low

I do like them though!

don't like it lower than 60mm from stock in my view. looks like you had 18's and now you got 15's again. its just where i live that this wouldn't even be an option, roads are well harsh.

grille yes
david

Thanks guys. Yup it get's over, my mid section hangs down faaar to much which is scraping, so thanks to Ross it's got a temp job until can get it sorted. Had no probs with any other speedbumps yet and been over quite a few today.
Ride is just awesome, still getting used to it in the corners, forgetting I don't have lowering springs anymore in some corners but I'm loving it 110%, was like a kid at Christmas on Saturday. Rota Grids or GT3's in bronze I'm thinking now.

Haha, I love yours mate so slightly copying it is my way of a compliment lol! Don't fancy the reds, been offered GT3's in bronze with silver lip though! Cheers Wezz :)
