mine looked like this

Well a little update here on progress really,

As known by some of you the Fidanza gave up the beans, so i replaced it:

Starting work:

It all went pretty smoothly really, no problems or hiccups getting the box off, once it was off we saw the extent of the damage done, the flywheel/clutch, pressure plate and release bearing were all fucked and the washers and broken parts of the bolts and loose aluminium was everywhere and had battered the shit out of the bell housing and everything really:

I thought i'd be nice and give Stufa a little job as he was stood there picking his arse so cleaning was a good one ;)

Before:

After:

He also greased up the clutch lever arm and it feels great now no rough grinding in the pedal :D

as for the Fidanza:

i was really annoyed with it but alas these things happen so onwards and upwards i thought
i was shocked at the state of the whole thing really, the contact plate was cooked as was the clutch and pressure plate:

I now have a near new XTD flywheel from Deccie22 and a stage 2 clutch kit from Gspec and im now happy at the moment with the car, apart from a small patch of rust on the passenger arch thats showing through :/

cheeky lol, i was the one doing all the work and you was my tool monkey haha
yeah went really well ay, your clutch pedal feels sooo much better now to.
didnt grease the clips but its not essencial.

them bolt pieces and washers really did make a mss of everything.

I need some gearbox and clutch love soon on mine, release bearing is making a fair bit of noise now!

Well this is more of a goodbye to the Almera its sad to say but she had to go, the dreaded rust worm got hold of it and didn't let go, its really my own fault i knew about it but ignored it thinking it wasn't as bad as it was but sadly it was ALOT worse :( so this is a farewell and goodnight to my black beauty and a hello to a new member that will now get all the TLC that the almera deserved but my negligence got the better of me...the saying "learn by your mistakes" comes to mind tbh anywho enough shite pics.......
