Bit of an update on this,
Well as my Fidanza Flywheel has given up the goose (as most of you prob know) and the ring gear has come away from the flywheel itself and does this:

So i've sourced myself an XTD one to replace the fidanza:
I have also made this up at work but im yet to convert the center RC bolt to hold down the plate
I also got a full set of leathers from FOSSIL FUELS
For the rear bench/back im going to make up the correct brackets to hold them correctly and pump up the center tunnel lump and stop it looking shite :/
I was also given some spacers for the rear wheels, but i've got to raise the rear coilovers slightly to stop the small amount of rub they have on the arch

Im just waiting on my stage 2 cltch from G-spec to arrive then i can change the fly/clutch together, ive also got a short shifter i will try but if it feels shit i'll remove

Yeah it is mate he said its XTD :/ fucking better be!!! lol
It's XTD or chromoly or something like that, SR16Dave bought it and fit it to the GTi I had, whatever it is it's still just as light!
Well its not to much heavier than my fidanza
it just means the car wont feel as pokey low down
