Indeed, the mapper is a Renault fanatic and is disappointed with the torque figures for his as they would have been a lot better if he had the standard inlet manifold on, as the RS2 One he has has less capacity but flows better so gives better power but less dense air or some shit like that lol, I expected him to produce more than me anyway so no biggie I just wanted to see what mine was pushing :)

The trouble with that setup us you sacrifice a bit of low down grunt. If youre going boost then theres no need to get bigger cams.
 
Yeah and the money it costs to get small gains, im just going to go for turbo just need to get some more bits sorted, i've been speaking to Joe about the GTI-R lump but i dunno if i want to do another engien swap, i know this one i have and i trust it :)

Well i had an amazing day yesterday celebrating my 4th year anniversary with the misses, and my mates b-day (clio owner)

We all went to our first of many track day events at Snetterton 200 circuit :) the weather to start was a little crappy but as soon as we got onto track it had cleared up and was great, had a lot of fun and i surprised a few people as they expected alot less, i even had 2 guys come up to me asking what the hell im running in it lol and they were even more shocked as they expected it to be turbo'd lol:)

All in all my car was much better round the corners than the Clio above, but he just had a little pull on the straights which i expected, and when i got past him on the long sweeping corner they have, the next lap round he lost it trying too hard and the rear end wanted to go in front lol :) but no one got hurt so all was good just a few people'd Ego's haha :)

This impreza was one of the guys that asked me what the Hell was in the Pulsar as he was shit slow and his was a turbo lol :)

All in all it was an amazing day and we had a great laugh, i cant wait to upgrade the brakes though as the fade was bad lol, but the car was faultless otherwise and it loved every minute of it, at one point i was catching up on my friend who has a DC5 K20 lump in an EJ civic shell, its a monster but as i got close he pulled into the pits :( obviously there was an issue otherwise i'd have never caught up

It was £79 for the evening session of 3 hours on track (total of 5 at the event with signing on and briefing etc) plus fuel so it was a great cheap event and its a great way to get how the car feels, i was tweaking the coilover dampness to get a better feel of what it should be the whole day :) it was really worth the money and we were on track with some caterhams and some group of ST Fiesta's driven by complete dickheads though lol
