Help with ga**de to sr20de please

cool, cant wait to see the pics etc. Is it a stock eGT lump, or have you tinkered with it? Either way, its gonna feel fast compared to the 1.4 you were used to.
I wanna see them wheels again! should look nice on the N15..

Well done, and good to see you got over the million problems you seemed to have.

And lets hope your not dissapointed, after driving your EG6. lol

good news mate, im waiting on a chromed altenator and my BMC then should get it running then to

you will be itching to get out in her now?

bet it feels great now, them engines are so responsive, rev up so quickly compared to the little 1.4, tap the throttle and the revs shoot up were as in the 1.4 they seem so unresponsive, noise is amazing aswell imo

cheers for the comments guys :) all I've done to the engine so far is fitted piper cams, a fidanza flywheel, an uprated clutch and just an induction kit. Along with a full service.

The wheels are still yet to go on the car mate as its knoking about on the ramp in his garage and I don't want them damaged! cos they are pretty mint. :)

I think it'll be another few weeks till its on the road 'cos he's got a bit more to do. I'm very impressed with his work though so don' want to rush him.

Kurt: my mate has just bought a standard sunny with an sr20de in and it is quite a lot quicker than the EG6 so my almera should be nice :D

Sprint and Andrew Smith: Cant't wait to have her back. Its going to be amazing having her back and being able to use it again.

another update on this.

I get it back on Saturday! Its running a dream. No clicking c.v joints, no whining from the gearbox or anything. Well impressed. I'll take loads of pictures (although it looks a bit dirty at the moment) and get them up on here. Cant wait!

ok its back in my hands! its awesome. only problem is the power steering fluid keeps leeking out of the joint on to the cooler (underneath the headlight) and it won't stop. Have tried a really tight jubilee clip and all sorts what else will solve this??

Also seems to be a problem when cornering fast right, the left wheel feels like its shuddering. almost as though the tire is being pulled away from the rim, any suggestions here?

pics will be taken tomorrow whether depending and I will also be making a post about bits I have for sale after all of this.

Power steering pipe can be bought from nissan, don't know how much they are, but there your best bet because nearly all Almera's do that.

Cornering? Is it doing it when going straight, could be bolts?

Replace he coolant rail and the 2 rubber pipes. Mine did it, its the only way to be 100% sure its fixed.

any chance any of you have got the part numbers for this and the approximate price please.

GTI Kurt: its fine going straight and when going round left hand corners will check all bolts tomorrow.

thanks
