Best thing ever can actually change oil when you want rather than the lottery of it the metal stud nut is rounded or not?On another note...changed the oil filter housing as well...so don't have to use the paper filter now...
The filter paper wasn't the issue the housing was a captive nut that wore easily as metal was soft. So if you don't wanna be able to get paper filter out then is all good but if you want to change without much issue this is a must have change. What's wrong with a paper filter they flow well don't they?
Did all of the DCi's have paper filter housings or did they change them at a certain model year? The filter paper wasn't the issue the housing was a captive nut that wore easily as metal was soft. I am so surprised that the engine wasnt smoking it's tits off as it was the turbo in the end...Finally we have the powerzzz...car actually responds..going up an incline in high gear..Instead of slowing down. Was only one thing left to test...though a few thought it wouldn't be it...but change of turbo, has made a massive difference..turbo on the car has been changed by previous owner...not a nissan one..so not 100% sure on whats wrong with it. I got a 2nd hand oem one of eBay..and wow..big difference..
It could be the settings on the vnt on the turbo if it's not the original one
