JC#79's Nordic P11 GT LE

good figure matey :D

a quicky tho? on your boost printout.. the bost goes up to nearly 1.1bar then falls to just under 0.9 then averages out more?

i thought it would just rise to the desired boost, then stay at that point?

excelent work man ;)

Well here are some shots of the latest modifications to my whip I hope you like, it was unveiled at the great weekender that was Angelsey 09 & was kindly fitted by the main man Nabber.

Here is the latest piece in the Nordic GTT puzzle:

In case anyone is feeling overly special the rocker cover & strut brace have been painted in a spell blinding blue (cannot remember the paint code).

Special thanks goes out to Nabber & his mate for sorting this little mod out for me (prep & painting) and helping to point out how sweet the colour would be. In addition to the fitting of the rocker cover, at the expense of valuable drinking time!

Also my thanks goes out to Graham for making several trips home to get various bits we needed to get the job done before the rain took hold your a star.

Also thanks to Yogi for his assistance & help in the fitting of said bolts (say no more).

I hope you all like I was not sure I would have liked so much blue under my hood (wait for the jokes to start) but it has grown on me & I may well not use the polished chrome looking one I have had waiting to fit since late last year.

Not sure exactly why that is may have something to do with what the std boost regulator is set to? (By that I mean the actuator)

Will update you when I find out more. ;)

wow that looks great, the blue & turbo heat shield were defo the missing bits.
ive just re-done my rocker cover too - pls say nice things lol

Well some of you may have noticed from earlier posts today that there has been another change to my engine bay. With help from Ade (he did most of the work ) we sucessfully relocated the MAF & the apexi air filter.

Now the original position of the MAF was causing issues with the fueling/running of the car as it was too close to the turbo. This also had an effect on the mapping of the car so now this is done we expect to release more of the potential from the engine.

Now due to my misunderstanding of the description of what needed to be done to complete the relocation I managed to completely advise Ade the wrong location for the MAF.

Therefore the MAF is currently in a vertical orientation rather than in the oem position (horizontal). Now I am not saying this is the correct or even a good idea but it's where it is for now so I will be keeping an eye on it till I either change it or something goes a miss.

So I guess some pics would be helpful at this time huh???

nice looking motor, where in london you from as I see you visited sanspeeds for your dyno they are only 5 minutes away from me.

Filter in the wing is the way forward! :D

I wanna get a kit to sort that out on mine at some point! Car just keeps going from strength to strength mate! :)

Superb looking engine bay Rich ;) Coming along well. When are you remapping?

lookin good, not puddle friendly though ey

Puddles what are they then, here is to hoping that we have a very long dry summer!:)

Still have a little bit of tweeking to do so hopefully the wet stuff won't cause many issues...

Wow. What a beast. Is your expenditure in the thousands yet?
Now that would be telling so if your name isn't Mr bank manager I'm keeping stumm! ;)

Updated dyno run

Ok guys, after visiting Mick from Hi-Tech Motorsports I have some updated figures from the dyno. Now there are three graphs 1st after all checks to confirm the engine was in a sound state to be run.

This confirmed the power that was achieved at the previous RR I attended after the ECU map was altered. The others were after various tweeks to the fuel pressure & with the timing altered to 8* from 15*.

Here are the graphs sorry about the quality I will try & rescan them at a later date:

1st run:
1stRun_17_05_09.jpg

2nd run:
2ndRun_17_05_09.jpg

3rd run:
3rdRun_17_05_09.jpg

So that is 298bhp at 6133rpm & roughly just under 260lbft at 5900, sorry forgot to ask for a print out of the torque figures was still in shock over the increase without any adjusting of the boost being run (0.9bar)

As said on NPOC Rich, great result and can't wait to see what more you're going to squeeze from thsi ;) You must be pretty chuffed!

Well I still have JWT cams to go in a re-map to rectify the fueling at partial throttle & then an increase of boost to 1.2bar, add uprated engine mounts, VZR gearbox with LSD & some body/paintwork to tidy everything else up. Also not to forget finishing up my ICE install got so much still to do...

Wow such high power from this beast! If this was many years back you would put quite a few jap super cars to shame!

Well I'm happy with where we are with her right now just have to see where we go from here...

woah!

awesome stuff from like you say, relatively minor adjustments

Still more to come but at least we have an idea what was causing the boost to drop off at 5k

What a beast!
Still need my FPR?

Cheers for +ve comments guys pm sent ^^
