Replaced the old rear speakers.

Clarion, 30W, didn't make anyone happy.

The new ones, Nertz 120W is much better.

"- New speakers in a race car?

I'm using it as a daily driver a few months more.
 
It seems to be a small leakage of PAS fluid.

Any component that more often breakes down than others?
Where do leakeages usually begin?

Check the rubber hoses that run to the cooler from the reservoir. They often perish and start to leak.

My last pulsar developed a leak from the rack but that was fairly uncommon

Are you sure?
I went to a garage specialized on car electronics today

According to them it isn´t possible to exchange the voltage regulator.

They thought it was som problem with some diode or the diode bridge.
 
Adjusted the TPS yesterday.
Befor the car could be a little nervous/jumpy on low throttle.
Now it runs smooth and nice!
 
The alternator is now giving 13.75V output.

"The best problems is the ones that solves them selfes..."

Didn't do a thing. Will continue measuring.

Have continued to measure the alternator.
With three different voltmeters, incl the two first ones.

The alternators output is now 13.75-13.95V.
Wonder why it was 16.5-17V before.

Well, all is fine!
 
AC, incl a lot of bits and bolts, is removed.

Ignition is adjusted.

New brake pads, brake calipers are lubricated, new brakefluid etc.

Rear seat is removed.

Headlights are converted to xenon.

It is going forward.
 
Exchanged the alternator belt.
Snapped the bolt to the alternator.
Everything that needs to be reeplaced/adjusted ends up in a snapped bolt.

But, besides that, the car is getting ready for race.

Since the last update we have added som lightnes (removed a lot of things that we don´t need)
Adjusted toe in/out
Added a gurneyflap on the rear spoiler (not because we need more downforce, it´s mostly because we always do)
Mounted extra headlights
New tyres, Bridgestone Potenza 195/50-15

But there is something fishy with this car...

More will follow.
