Sooo. Spent an hour or so on the derv the other day.

Oil, Oil filter, air filter and pollen filter changed. (will do the fuel filter when I get time).

Intake pipe removed and 1/2 can of EGR cleaner sprayed through.

A/C belt tensioner tightened to stop the squealing belt on start-up.

It drives so much nicer now, MPG is up a little (Vpower Nitro+ helps too) and sounds a lot smoother.

Still to do; other half of EGR cleaner though the intake, remove and clean the EGR valve & fit fuel filter.
 
Need to clean my EGR as well, having trouble sourcing Wynns cleaner. Are you planing to use injector cleaners later on?

Yeah ive got some Forte Inj cleaner en route.

Today ive given her a bath. Paint is soooo rough, its in dire need of a clay/cut/polish/wax but that will have to wait.

I used the injector cleaner last month an noticed an improvement in running of car & MPG full service is now due so can't wait to see how much better the car can be once its has a full service.
eBay is best source for egr cleaner & forte injector cleaner. I bought a set with turbo cleaner included but yet to use it as of yet.

Fresh oil will make it quieter, clean air/oil filter will keep it reliable, and Forte and EGR cleaner will help keep it running smooth :). All will keep your MPG up.
 
Rear engine mount arrived. Hopefully get that fitted along with the front i have in stock before JAE. Just waiting on selector bushes. Then still waiting on fitting the new brakes! @edk lol

Jesus fuck its rough on idle. EVERYTHING shakes. Door windows, glovebox, bonnet, bootlid, airbox, rad, IC.

Im giving it till after to JAE and if its not settled a standard front will be going back in.
 
Will settle. My rear one is less harsh now from new. I assume front will do the same.
 
The display look different to mine i assume its because its non sat nav ? Also noticed the rear seat armrest has the same problem mine had where the weak and puny metal bar had bent (very poor design) not allowing it to recline flush, nothing that a bend back into shape with molegrips didnt cure. Agree with the others the seats are very nice just need a bit of looking after to keep them from cracking.
 
Yeah its a non satnav, thank god.

Seats are great. Far more comfortable than phase 1 seats ans they have adjustable back support for added win.
