Liam's Derv

It is actually. The majority of that weld was already on there. My weld is about 10mm wide as its a 2" pipe in a 2.5" flange. Just getting s bit more practice in before attempting the ArEx.

Downpipe back at the moment. Will get a 3" downpipe/decat made at some point. There isnt any point trying to get audio, it really isnt loud!

Time to make swiss cheese.

End acheivement = fuck all.

Had hoped ut would soften up the idle but it hasnt. Although it is quite a lot smoother to drive with and gear changes seem less harsh.

Damn, I was hopeful. Although i would have drilled much larger holes.

I didnt want to drill larger holes because it would give larger weakspots for the central tube to rip through.

Standard front will be on the cards over xmas.

My plan was to drill 20mm holes around the outer edge of the bush. Leaving it similar to oem design. Round the outer edge means centre insert bit has no where to go.

No idea if it'll work but i can but try.

I see your point. I just thought that many smaller holes, giving more surface area, would dissipate the vibrations better. It is a hell of lot smoother while driving, almost OEM feel compared to be before. Its just the super low idle that ruins it.

Before you'd need to hold it at just over 1k to be smooth, now when it 'fast' idles naturally at 850ish is bearable, but then when it drops down to its normal of 550ish its still hideous.

Ahh the pros and cons of fitting uprated engine mounts lol.I know what you mean about solid gear changes,i also had the idle vibs for ages, but have died down now to near what it was with stock mounts in.

Why is your idle dropping so low ?

Exhaust looks decent :)
