I wish I knew where but some people made the comment it'll be fine when I was looking to fit polys. I was sure then that no it wouldn't be fine on a Diesel. Vindicated. But not happily so.

If you saw how bad it was before you'll realise that no you don't know what he means lol, it was about to shake the glass out of the doors.

Its needed the rear brakes sorting since ive had it, so as its MOT is tuesday I thought id best get em sorted. Used the old 280mm discs of the Twister and some nee Brembo pads.

As can been seen, well overdue!

Had to swap over a caliper as the driverside was seized solid, cant even knock it round with a hammer and punch!!

Stops a lot more smoothly now, should hopefully pass.
 
Think mine is due as can hear caliper unsticking after taking handbrake off after car has been parked up. Always something to do to keep the daily running well.

Looks like the rears on mine, they were blue from the heat.
 
Found out why it seems to take left hand bends so much better than rights. And why the OSF tyre was bald on the inner edge.

1°24' camber on the front right wheel. Lets play hunt for the bent part :(
 
Northampton I think. We used to use them at my old old garage. They do a lot of Garrett stuff which is why you'd know about them from a Ford Fan Boi viewpoint.
 
All done now. Will benefit greatly from IC and remap now. No untoward noises or smoke. Also fitted castor spacers to the wishbones. Poly'd wishbones will go on over easter, followed by trailing arms.
 
Its just so boring in standard form and its going to be years til the mazda is done, so decided to do a few tweaks to the derv to make it interesting.
