Liams Range Rover

Only £260 leftover Paul, but its £70 for a centre pipe, £30 for the door actuator, and probs around £50 for the brake pipes. Then £50 the MOT. So ive only got £60 leftover!

But it means im slightly better off next month as i can use the leftovers for the MOT instead of my wages!

Erm, well, I went a bit mad today...

Took the grill, lights, airbox, battery, battery tray, ecu housing, intercooler pipe work, stereo, b pillar trims and seat belts off of Roger today...

Nah, it will all go back in

Needs new stereo and belts, and the rest came off for a clean/tidy up... Gave up for today after I bled all over the workbench and headlight :censored:

pfft I filled corbs donor car with blood, and still persisted with two engine removals. go back.... go back now

CBA now... Cup o tea in hand. Plus I theres not enough paint to do inside the headlights, as I painted the plastic trim underneath them instead

I will continue my cleaning session tomorrow...

Today I ordered new centre exhaust, back to black for the bumpers, light tint spray for the side repeaters and indicators, gunk engine degreaser and sent the stereo off to get refurbished...

Just need to source some seatbelt, get a heatgun to take the headlights apart, clean the engine bay, get new oil filler cap, de-flock the B pillar trims, refit the stereo when it returns, refit the satnav including tidying up the wiring for it, waxoyl the entire underside/chassis rails, then its time to re-assemble and finally a good claybar, polish and collinite wax.

Need to get it done in resonable time as Grandad is showing signs of the abuse he's been given over the last few months...

Heres some pics to break up all the writing

Still got alot to do. But ive given up on painting the insides of the headlights, cant for the life of me get the glass off. Broke 3 bits off it now, and been hit in the face with 2 of them!

Thanks guys!

I always like to be doing something Matt, just so happens i'd rather spend my money on Roger instead of Grandad at the moment. But all in all ive not done bad, spent £220 and thats got me; centre exhaust pipe, stereo refurbished, 2x seatbelts, door actuator, 1ltr back to black, engine degreaser & light tint spray. So ive spent just over the grand I had saved to fix him! Plus ive fixed quite a few litle things for free, woop woop!

Just need to get all the new parts fitted ect and its time to get out the cleaning gear  in time for Nunny!

EDIT - Pel yes it is.

And the door handles need painting, but they can wait
