What kind of flakes, not corn.. are the flakes smoothed in, or can you feel them? I cant tell with the pic??

looks like its been applied too "thick" (viscous, not layers)

just wondered really...

rocker is interesting, looks not bad imo.

basecoat was thin.. yes

but then 2-3 coats of lacquer makes it look thick and shiny!
