How do you know if your mounts are ok? Cause if mine are ok I'll swap you mate. Can do it when I come and visit soon hopefully. If it isn't to difficult.
 
you'll soon get use to the vibrations. mine when new seem'd harsh too, now either they've settled in a tad more or im use to it. imagine if you had cams, flywheel, pulleys & mounts :lol:
 
Theyve been in for a while now and thought they would have settled but still vibrating like hell!! Can persevere for another while but Matt if your up for it we could swap the inserts that way we dont have to worry about getting the bushes out!!

Had the car on axel stands all day yest and wax oiled the whole interior...found some rust in the inside of the car but all gone now!! Had the carpets up and all good....found some weird and wonderful thing under the carpets (metal rod, sweets, money, screws etc lol!!) re-done my calipers and painted the hubs black!! Couldnt get the side skirts off though cause the screws have rounded so they'll get hammered out another day!!

Went to fit my mid section that I got from Mov-mera last week but it was too short cause he has cut it where it joins to the back box!! Obviously didnt have the patience to get the rest of the pipe out of the back box so just cut it and now the mid section I've got is too short!! NOT HAPPY :devil: cause I paid him £100 for the mid section and back box and didnt expect this from a fellow member! I made it quite clear that it was the mid section I needed!! PICS soon!!
 
you bought the exhaust knowing it had been grinded off, coz i personally told you that we couldn't seperate the backbox from the mid section..!

and, you were shown pics...


This is not the first time you've "noticed" a problem, like a long while after recieving it.. so don't pull that card
 
While I don't know the full story personally or seen pics, I'd like to point out I know Innes personally and he one of the most genuine honest guys I know so don't even think about turning this back on him and trying to imply he is trying to bump you lot.

To me this doesnt make sense, but I might be reading it the wrong way
 
White_biscuit you are talking non sense mate you never once told me that you couldnt seperate the midsection from the back box and had to grind it off!! Why would I want a mid section that is too short to fit on the car it doesnt make sense!!

Hahaha your having a laugh mate...dont try turning this on me, thanks Chris!! When was the last time something like this happened??

The pics that I was shown showed the exhaust still on the car...I dont get how two of you would think about grinding it off then sending me it you obviously didnt have the patience to get the mid section out properly!!

all you have to do to get a 1 piece exhaust out is unbolt the bottom of the passenger strut and pull the beam down.....
 
Exactly but its been grinded off, which is obviously going to make it shorter then that means it wont fit on to the back box on my car!! PATIENCE.....that's all it would have taken!!
 
Like I said the pic was a pic from under the car and did not show any sign that the exhaust was getting grinded off!! I shall get this exhaust welded and await part refund. cheers
