My GTI-R

Ay up Wezz, looking good. The cars isn't bad either :gay:

Are the holes in the rear bumper just to decrease abit of drag?

yeh big G, rear bumper on GTIR's are bad for parachute effect.

weeeeeeeell i said id be happy if i got a 12.9 and i did, buuuuuuuuuut my best time of the day was 12.75 @ 103.6mph :thumb: over the moon arent i. i got 9 runs in and all were in the 12's. slowest was a 12.95

the 12.61 was the blue GTiR in the pics thread. you can see i was ahead until the 8th, then he slowly pulled a car length over the line, he couldnt believe i was still on standard boost

just read through the entire thread there, fookin ace car man, love to own a gtir but cost of insurance and running it would have me robbed over here!! one can wish i suppose! ha top job though!! :D

you will need slicks to beat my current time i think stu, even then im still totally stock in the engine and turbo department :) i havent even started yet, 12.75 is just the beginning baby :)

i havent a clue stu, but yeh less than you, your terminal was faster than mine but your car will have weighed more than mine. last time it was on the rollers it showed 263bhp (flywheel) but the graph was proper sketchy, didnt even look right. a GTiR with the mods i have should be around 250bhp but i honestly dont have a clue

 drag racing isnt everything, lets go on a proper track and i'll show you how a car should accelerate out of a corner hehe

dunno about that mate,

when exiting corners you dont need 4wd, as youve got enough momentum to accelerate without spinning up, :)

after 30-40mph i reckon 4wd is not needed,

whats your 4wd system like then?
constant? or you got limited front and back difs?

well we shall put it this way. id love to see what your car does if you full on boost it around a roundabout, im quite sure you would understeer into the kerb  mine wont.

i will be able to plant my foot a lot sooner out of the corner before you will dude
