Just my 2p but IMO side mounted plates look really messy, as said before especially when the original recess is there, even kurts neat plate just looks odd being to the side. The square plates especially just look like someone couldn't be bothered with design, style etc and plonked it on.
Never been convinced by the supposed difference in airflow, especially below 100mph. Would be interesting to try it with/without straight after one another.
 
This is why I smoothed the recess.. Only way the square/side plate works imo.

Ive simply rigged up a light that I can bolt on for MOT then remove it afterwards, I hate them the way they are

yeah K ive got my red gti turbo engine sitting here all ready :)

ive just gone and bought some new pates :)
a normal one for the front and a proper one for the rear as te old one was too talland didnt fit properly,
but not fitting the back one yet as im still waiting for good weather to colourcode the rear plate surround ;)
and remove the rear wiper.

right on monday i washed my car, ready for the track which me and ed ended up not going to, so i bought a tripod and went on a mini photo shoot of our cars, i will put up all the pics from that in a new thread,

and here are some jdm goodies i have :) the rear surround will be up for sale soon once ive sorted out my existing one, and im sticking with the 2 slatt grille so pel as first dibs on that, the P{2 indicators are also going on the pulsar :)

one thing i spotted when dong the battery was the gearbox mount, i bought a new one from greg @ gspec but not sure if it will be the same as a sr20 gearbox one???

yeah thats what i mean :/ the geabox mount mount i bought is in the pic, and fits the sr20 box,

are they the same as a ga box mount? :(
i had a spare rear mount too but gave that to ed, but guess i could get it back off him :):)
so i have a rear and a box engine mounts for the sr20
 
I will go and get pictures of the GTi mount and Autech mount for you :)

I will be replacing both side mounts on mine soon, placing another substancial order with gspec :D
