the pro race 2's are a 7J rims,
i have the widest tyres you can get on a 7J rim which are the 225
fair play stu, obviously you want the largest contact patch, did you not want a larger rim width?

right a little update ...
When shakeys last sat,
ran a 13.4 @ 110mph,
in preperation for it i got a pair of new wheels/tyres,
Team dynamics pro race 2's and some Toyo R888's
When i got to shakeys i put te new wheels on,
comparison between the two...
Now im sponsored by opie oils again, i got some more great priced oil, did a oil and filter change, and put on my opie oils stickers,
nice and subtle
My clutch is slipping now
so new one going in next week
then brandshatch on the 1st then santapod on the 3rd
cant beat some good track action
Got it home after shakeys and gave it another good wash and wax,
got all the tyre pieces off the sides etc,
just a quick wash and wax :lol:
And yesterday i got some new Toyo T1R's 225/40/16's on the front as the old ones were very nearly illegal
so im all legal now, every thing is running sweet, loving the car right now,
next few things to do are;
power steering pump and inner CV gaitor, which is booked in at my garage to be done tuesday,
Im going to fit my new clutch next week to, so i can run it in before brands hatch and santapod,
My exhaust is booked in at Powerspeed in ashford, £580, but the work/quality is the best! and for long life quality they are top,
Then back to reline tuning, to get the limiter removed on the high boost setting (will still remain on the low boost), convert my dials ie 80kph will be 80mph, remove the MAF (major restriction), and to get the low and high boost mapped with the new exhaust etc,
should gain around 20-25 bhp on both boost settings so 295bhp on 0.6 bar! haha, would love to crack the 300's on stock 0.6 bar!
