My JDM Y0 Pulsar Serie GTi

There's no replacement for displacement...
So you've gotta put your 2.0l in this..
Shame the 2.0l you've got happens to be a BUILT TURBO MOTHER!!!
:D
Joe

haha yeah joe all depends on bill :/
itll cost me £6-700 absolute max to get it in and running :)

although i do need a new clutch on it, but the sr18 pulsar clutch is a bit crap so will change that soon too,
also what price do you reckon ill get for the sr18 engine, cant do much with it, if im keeping the ecu, etc :(
as no nissans use this engine in the uk :/

mapping / dastek unit £450
boost guage £40
egt/oil temp guage £100
other hoses and vacum pipes, clips etc £20
battery moved to boot £30
air filter £50

thats about it

Sell the SR18... maybe even abroad! Its gotta be worth something as its rare.
Use the loom/Ecu/barrel/keys/nats IMMU box from another GTi to keep the Pulsar's ECU etc free... so whoever buys it will be able to get it running :)
Don't worry about it being non-NATS, just use a GTi complete loom man, like I did, it'll be sound!!
Joe

Yeah that's what I reckon too, take it all from a GTi so save mixing UK looms/engine sensors with jap ECUs. Nightmare waiting to happen otherwise.

Come on bill let him turbo it!! :D
He's came so far and it'll take so little to get the engine running in this current lovely import car!
You know you wanna lol, we all thought you were the perfect girlfriend and our thoughts would be set in stone if you let him do this :)
Hahaha
Joe

Yep, sell the SR18 to someone with a GA14 or something. Rich is selling a GTi with everything you need for £150.

whats stopping you putting a highport sr20 in it and using an eGT (non nats) ecu? gives you the chance to go for wild cams if you want to stay NA, and a ropey eGT goes for sod all, just not worth anything in bits either as no one will pay decent money for anything but if you pay £100-£200 for a complete car you have everything you need.

He's got his rebuilt wossner piston filled lightened crank bored out beast of an engine already you see :D.

What I mean is even if he wanted to go N/A the comp should be fine for it. But yeah having the turbo still does help :D.

I'd be willing to donate a SR18 ECU if you do end up keeping yours to allow you to sell the engine complete.

This way you can give the Pulsar the engine it deserves while getting maximum back from the engine. :D

i'll give you a nice little surprice stu.

you have a cat temp sensor. dunno whether thats wired into the interior or engine loom

ah yeah i saw this when having a go at the exhaust, :(
info please,
what will happen if i disconnect it, although the dastek with make it all run sweet overriding the running of the ecu,

From Stu :D

I've got my starter motor, exhaust and wheels on last night! :). Can't wait to slam it now! :)
