Such a shame its going back to standard and the fact you're getting rid...

I loved how simple mods transformed this car into a lovely looking 5 door and it would have had a beast of an engine!

im gonna miss it. had second thoughts last night when i raced a EK Civic Type R and humped it by a massive margin until he switched cams...

Not good mate....when does your MOT actually run out? Will you still make shakeys? You NEED to wooop eddies ass!!!

mot expires thursday.

i doubt i will make shakies but im putting the car in the garage just now to try and fix what i can.

ive organised the brakes and suspension so im half way there

Gutted for you mate :( Id come and lend a hand if you wern't 500 miles away :)

Best of luck getting it sorted dude!

Damn! Consider yourself lucky the N/S/F brake line hadnt split yet and you'd lost all brakes whilst driving.

A good portion of those failures above are of your own doing...you knowingly put fubar'd suspension on your car and then didnt bother to secure the front brake flexi hoses....dangerous to say the least.
You didnt actually expect it to pass did you?

emissions is down to overfueling, either a fucked lambda is tellin the car its lean and its compensating or there could be a few other reasons, probably down to that new cam u installed. i posted a link to my emissions thread which goes into more detail in your mot thread

what makes you think i put fubarred suspension on dale? thats a pretty rash accusation to make. im sure a few people on here could verify that when i received those coilovers i inspected them all over because the person i got them off (WRC) was coming under scrutiny. and guess what. no obvious signs of leakage at the time.

as for the brake flexi's. i did secure them. i havent had the wheels off so i dont know the story on that. but once again. thanks for assuming its my fault.

alan im about to look at the post you made

Sorry, could have swore you had Kurts old daiyama coilovers.

Maybe i was a bit harsh, but still doesnt excuse a failure sheet like that.

no i believe that the 63mm spring diameter is the same as BC springs. if so, ill be buying some stiffer springs.

getting new dampers from phil so i will be fully rebuilding these coilovers to the best of my ability.

when the piston rod is pushed in, it doesnt come back out... looks like i bought 4 lemons!
