I'm not 100% convinced on the rims. I think they'd sit well on an N14 or RN14. Maybe in white may help? Hard to see in the pics though. Could be ok in the flesh.
Day one finished got the new head gasket on and all timed back up. Everything looks in good shape for the mileage/det issues so that's kept me happy. Tomorrow will be fitting everything back on new injectors and getting the turbo back on then out for a tune
Why struggle when you have all the tools lol yeah it's not that heavy. Cheers it's not all me I do have a mate who lends a hand when ever I ask so I can't take all the credit lol
All back together today and Been out for a run apart from a water leek from the home made turbo cooling pipe all is good. Not much boost at the moment but loads more timing back and feels as fast as it did but with only half the boost
Also fitted the new injectors which I checked they clicked when I got them to make sure they worked then got the ultrasonic cleaned put them in today and now they don't work. Fairly pissed off after all the work of changing them
Yeah it's just the drain which with the ball bearing turbo the oil feed has a restrictor in it so not much oil got out. I was about 7 miles from home i could smell burning oil as I pulled in the petrol station to fill up then when I stopped it started smoking so I drove out the petrol station just because of a possible fire hazard lol it's all fixed now
