My Mera

Well it passed its mot on Tuesday. Feels good to have it back at last :)

Anyways need to do a few bits like the rocker cover needed painting and I've got some horrible blue silicone hoses on it still. So ordered all the black hoses I need and decided to do the rocker cover this weekend

Needed to use paint stripper on it to get it to a useable condition

Looks good mate I'll be doing the same wrinkle effect but I'm thinking red. I've been telling myself I'll do it to the spare cover I have for the last few years though.....lol

Cleeeeeean. Wow I really need to sort mine out, not done the bay since forever.
 
Almost 5 years on of regrettably stripping this car as the rust was quite bad in the rear and the fuel bill was killing me for using it daily. Glad to see people still using the forum

Shame you had to get rid, but the new motor is cool mate.

Yeah forums don't get nearly enough use though. Were so good ten years ago, and I can't believe how much time has gone by so fast.
 
Thanks. Never thought I'd own a volkswagon but it happened some how haha. I'll Definitely have another fast jap car hopefully soon

I remember looking on here almost everyday back when I joined 12 years ago but unfortunately it did just keep getting quiter
