The only thing I can think is that the back looks a bit too low because I've got the old wheels plus another exhaust and other shit in the back of the car in those pictures.. So its not quite sitting level.
They are starting to grow on me now though, however I feel they look a tad small.
The car does feel a lot better with these on though..
Noise pollution.
Well needless to say.. with this 2.5" Header, 2.5" Decat, and 2.5" Stainless catback with no silencers whatsoever.. My car sounds bloody fantastic
Feels pretty decent too.. Not saying too much, but next 1/4 mile day.. I'm gonna be needing my helmet
Its an XS power one, 2.5" Downpipe:
I used all brand new Nuts & Bolts from local hardware store:
Old:
New:
Underside, mmmm:
A quick shot.. I'm actually loving the look right now Could be cleaner though:
Just a thought Joe, I was chatting to my father-in-law last week about that exhaust volume issue (there is a thread somewhere) and he showed me the ruling on his MOT program.
If your MOT tester deems your system excessively loud or even louder than a stock equivelent he can fail it or if borderline give an advisory.
When I build my next system I will be including a butterfly valve in the pipework and have it virtually shut for MOT time/stealth bombing.
Cheers for the comments lads
The cross member scrapes are from when I had the car on the absolute deck..
I've raised the front up 2" since then though, protecting everything underneath.. Plus when I went on the Dyno the anti roll bar was scraping, so I thought it wise to raise it a little.. its still low, just not too low
Joe
