My N15 5-door GTi Build...

AMAZING DAY!!
Woke up extra early to finish off the strippage , removed front door cards etc:

Got to Shakespeare County Raceway about 11ish after a bit of a detour.

I was mainly racing american muscle / V8's.. I'll put the photos up when I get them off my mate :)

It is only an extra 2 doors yeah Tommo :) cheers boss haha.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of the huge panes of glass the 3 doors have.. Although they are still lovely cars haha.
PLUS I've made loads of subtle styling mods that make it look great IMO..
Each to their own though.. So fair play if you think your standard base model looks better than mine haha.

Having had 2 five door almeras and 3 three door ones, my opinion is that the 5 door is better looking and amazingly better as a 'car'. Doors that arent the width of the car when open are one plus point.

ALLOY WHEELS..
I always swore by Standard GTi wheels.. But these came up for sale locally sooo..
They are Buddy Club P1 Racing, 15" by 6" wide, and are fitted with Pirelli P5000 195/50 tires all in good cond. One rim has a little laquer flaking but the other 3 are mint.. so I will get the one re-polished.

What do you think.. Honestly?
I'm not too sure myself.. thinking of selling them on, as I know they'll sell immediately if I put them on Civic life or something.

Im planning on getting a set of these for my car at some point but in black, so if you dont want them and there going cheap *nudge nudge wink wink* lol im kidding they do look good tho
 
I don’t think it goes with the street sleeper effect of the car, STOP!! You’re making it look fast now.

How much light are they compared to the GTi alloys (the name of them escapes me) if they are noticeable lighter with better thread keep em for the next ¼ mile to help with the new mods to land that lucrative 14.4sec :)

Keep them, refutb them in a better bronze with no shiny lip. They look great and look to have a nice offset, +30?

GTi wheels are too heavy, too ugly and have the gayest offset ever.
 
Cheers for the responses lads, They are +35 offset, but are 1" wider than GTi rims so they sit pretty nicely near the edge of the arches.
I'm thinking about painting the centres metallic gold or candy red.
