You'd make decent profits from the engine, be a lovely lump for someone upgrading/converting theirs...

Gen 5, cams and Dastek etc

I would maybe think about breaking it if time and facilities weren't tight. Plus fact that I can't be without a daily.
 
Sorry to hear the engine is dying, but its nice to know a bigger heart is replacing it.

Its like a shot from the film initial D when the engine dies on the mountain road :/

Right so as I posted a few pages ago, the bottom end bearings went in the engine:

With the annual 'AOC Drag Championship' fast approaching, and my engine build MILES from completed, I decided to fit a replacement SR20DE so I could at least race.
Car in the garage ready for the swap - and the replacement engine on the left - it cost £30 !

It goes ok :)

I've done my homework on the wiring mate, there is only one wire I don't know what it does and it ain't in any of the fsm's I've looked at its pure brown any ideas?
