My N15 5-door GTi Build...

What boost were you running on this that achieved the 1/4 time?

Fare play for keeping the head up with this build after getting so many knockbacks.

Quality pornography! Although some of those pics of damage, do feel a little like viewing snuff porn (caveat --->>>) or so I imagine!

*CONTINUED*After a few shitty runs and a few boost hose issues, I came away with this time:

Am I reading this right? Are those figures measured in feet? and 1320 is a 1/4 mile measured in feet?
Also, is "reaction time" how long it takes to cross the line, after the lights change? I've never taken the time to investigate a race slip before.

Despite how it looks I'm not actually looking at your cock.
I'd say it's more the look of internal turmoil. Certainly has the appearance of a man struggling with his desire to reach out and touch someone. ;)

Thanks, yeah I had a few moments with it but always moved onwards and upwards, all of the last few posts happened within about 6 weeks too so it was quick!!
It's just at Actuator Pressure at the minute (the minimum it can be) which is 0.8bar.
There is scope for more yes before you ask, the Turbo is good for 1.7bar and I have a map sensor setup to get round the MAF maxing out which it is on the verge of already...
I will probably only go to 1.0 - 1.2bar as a maximum though, that should be MORE than enough in this shell, it already feels quite ridiculous.

Yep the time slip measurements are in feet buddy... 1320 being 1/4 of a mile.
Reaction is the time between the green light, and when you pull away (which is only added to your actual time in competitions not practice days!)

The Quaife was good before on my SR20DE, but now with boost you can really feel it helping the car fight for grip.

Here's a few Videos:
The 13.0s run, still improvements to be made on start and a sketchy gear change:

13.5s against Dale, very boggy start and slow to get 3rd gear:

My poor wording. when I said "cross the line", I meant the "start line" and not the finish line

I think you confirmed the answer though. Thank you.

Second run 1st gear was a lot better because you feathered it or it bogged, but you floored it in second,it spun up straight away n hit the limiter.

If you show a bit more restraint in 2nd you will get it lower :)

Great effort,well done dude :)

Yeah man I'm sure I'll get a better run with a few more attempts!
I personally think the car's good for about a 12.5 but people on Facebook are calling 11's, I don't know about that personally hahha!
We shall see
Joe

I honestly think even high 11`s are very opptomistic without N02,,mmmm, now there`s a thought i`m sure you have had haha ;)
Get some lead out of yer right boot in 1st n 2nd and you can nip .5 off easy, then more sticky rubber, then N02 and even more stickyer rubber, you should be into the 11`s.
Tough not to get dragged in (excuse the pun) exponentially it starts to cost a lot of dosh for tiny gains, plus the more you push the more shit breaks.Great to see such fun anyway,i havn`t driven down a strip for over 20 fekkin years. That could change soon tho reading threads like this one.
Cheers.
