No way would I leave it unfinished like that! It needs blending into the arch, painting (The underseal can be sanded smooth and painted on top of) and the skirts on top, but what you see there was one nights work by a mate who does welding - he has no paint etc. I'll post up pictures of the finished article in due course.
Cov - I hope its a lacquer rub, it took me ages to t-cut out another scratch in the same place but I havent been able to make much of a difference in this one yet.
