buying gauges tomorrow. Then got 4-2-1 to have fitted with custom downpipe so will then have full ss exhaust.
then new tyres so recomendations welcome.
then source a salvage 1.8 phase 2
 
next step was to smooth over with some filler, which i have done but my iphones died and other phone wont link with my laptop so cant upload pic.
its all been sanded and smoothed just need to wet and dry it to get it as smooth as possible, then will paint it mat black for now.
it will eventially be skinned in carbon fibre.
 
im stuck on where to put my gauges lol. I have the climate control screen so im struggling on where to place them lol.

Same issue I had Darren - but I wanted mine kept discreet so put them in front of the gearlever. Not ideal, but they don't distract me at night or attract any unwanted attention :)

Good work Paul - lots of great N16 projects just now :thumb:
 
well finished it off rushed it as couldnt wait going to get it wrapped in either carbon or matte black vinyl but heres the temp finished product this can be made for anyone with a phase 1 or bottom model phase 2 i can also make custom ones to go round the dial console

cars looks like it come a long way, nice work.
I may have to see if your free to catch up some time as I have no idea about the almera :D
 
well the wife hated the shine of the pod so sanded it down till i got all scratch marks out and painted it again, in satin black.

wife still hated it so decided to go for matte black. Ive also added the gauges.

also got my new tires kumho ku31 in 205/55/16s mainly due to accident recently i need some more pretection of my rims, as 2 of them have nice chunks out of.
