Looks ace man, reminds me of mine :( I reckon painting the grille and the door handles would finish it off
 
I'm loving the offset. Might have to purchase some spacers for my OE alloys! Oh and the grille now suits it, might let you leave it black now! My grey one might look ok now? save me a £70 spray jobbie!
 
Cheers all, yeh grill is staying black...It may get sprayed in the future, or maybe not.

Nis2.0...yeh it scrapes on everything and anything. Speed bumps, pot holes, woops and divets on the road, train crossings, steep humpback bridges etc etc....but It's worth it.
 
Well wen't on the rollers today....A brand new set of Dyno Dynamics, so I feel these are as accurate as im gonna get.

Which they equaled 162.6 BHP....and 144 ft/lb

Thought the final BHP would of been a little more, but it just means it's a pretty quick car for 'only' 162bhp. :)
 
wondered how you had got on, the 2.0 16v corsa that only got 115bhp was my mates, and the silver s13 that got 170ish i think. corsa pulls well etc but its way down on power, doesnt make much sense but its a vauxhall so cant expect much can you :lol:

Ha, I thought it was that Corsa....damn I couldn't stop laughing :lol: That S13 got 195bhp...but his mods were exhaust, DV and a little more boost than he thought.

There was another XE corsa there, which got 161bhp....so I win the 2L 16v challange :rasp:

he said he was impressed with yours, his is going on diagnostics at some point but hes already got a LET and 6 speed box etc waiting to go in it.

amazing that he managed to beat a 106 GTi while i was in it, both cars were 2 up etc and the 106 had more power and less weight but by 60 iirc the corsa started to pull away pretty well. he said it seemed alot faster once but for the rest of the time has been exactly as it is now, still bloody quick for 115bhp, obviously a sensor has failed and work fine once in the time hes had the car.
 
Yeh, has he showed you the graph? It shot straight up in the first 3krpm..then just died and really struggled to go anywhere. Something was definately wrong..but if he's already got a LET, suppose it doesn't really matter.
 
yer was in work with him before, got to about 3k and stopped rising then got to 4kish and started to drop suddenly iirc, didnt seem to rev anything like yours did but it just seemed to keep on pulling when you give it the next gear, the graphs proven that i suppose, no power up in the higher revs but half decent at lower revs. remember him short shifting into 5th on a slip road and it pulling to past 100 at half throttle in no time at all, and hes had over 140 in it i think, yet the power is a mile off what it should be.
 
Hmm, strange one that. im gonna do afew more things to mine..then head back there but have a good play around with the car on the rollers see if they can squeeze any more out of it. There a good bunch, and it's a really smart place.
 
Well wen't Oulton park today..and it was 10x better than I thought it would be. Although I never got any vids or even pics..as I never left the track :lol: Suprised myself by passing quite afew really quick cars at times though.

Real eye opener for me too, my plans of a 200whp N/A car have gone right out of the window...my car was plenty fast enough on the straights I just need to get lots more practise to become alot quicker round a track, it already was spinning up on exiting corners.
