What management have you decided you're to use?

sorry, couldnt resist

It's pretty much decided that she will be getting a nistune remap...

The car will built up after japfest with the rest of the SC components and anything needed will be ordered.
I will be purchasing an aem air to fuel ratio meter and a nistune board . Then when funds allow she will then be towed/driven down to fusion in Surrey to be remapped and dynod.

Unfortunatly this does mean that the mera may be off the road for another month or 2 this year...
Or once the SC build I'd complete il take it off and drive it NA until funds allow for the remap.

This is not the way I wanted the build to go as I wanted it done for japfest.

But its the only safe option I have... but I promise to have it built/remapped/dynod/1/4 mile'd before JAE.
Even if I need to get a loan out it will be done.

;)

Get it mapped on 95ron with a bit of timing backed off and never have to worry about where you have to fill it up.

^ This

I learnt the hard way mapping mine on vpower. Its annoyingly scarse to get hold of at times, you'd be surprised how often you're caught out not near a shell - then it's too easy to think oh it'll be ok on 95ron this once, i won't cane it.

Then your head-gasket delaminates cos of the det, and i was lucky that was all that happened.

Ouch... mine is 6 miles up the road... not too far and a fun drive to get to.

And I can't see it shutting down as its on the edge of the A1 and you have to go through it to get out of the services.

Wow! I have about 4 all in close proximity to me and just about anywhere else in or around Edinburgh they are close by, joy's of living in the outskirts of a major city centre!

Exactly Chris - instead of living in the sticks (1 hr from Inverness & 1 hr 30 mins from Aberdeen). Still, at least Esso is cheaper or the same price as the supermarkets !

My mera has got some new toys :)

I have got 2 other gauges on there way but they haven't turned up yet...
Vacuum/Boost and considering I will be running the SC off the ALT belt I have purchased a Volt gauge to check for slipping of the belt.

More pics when I have fitted the gauge holder on the steering wheel support and I finish tidying up the dash.

Good stuff buddy. Hooked it up yet or just mounted the gauge? I'm about all weekend so will pop over and have a look at some stage. It's coming together nicely. Have to get it on the scales soon and find out how much she (and you :)) have lost.

It's still at the post office... I don't get a chance to go to the post office until the weekend.

Il send you a PM when I pick them up tomorrow... cheers

The gauge is mounted and the sensor is fitted in the downpipe where that bung was.
The gauge cabling is all sorted. Just need to sort out the power for the gauge and fix down the 3 gauge holder. All will be done tomorrow.
